It's a boy!

The poll was close: 55% of you voted TTT would be a boy while 45% voted girl.  Majority ruled - TTT is a boy!  Jon and I went to the hospital on Wednesday for our scan.  We were pleased to learn TTT is growing at a healthy rate and in the appropriate way (the hand bone's connected to the arm bone. The arm bone's connected to the shoulder bone, etc).  We learned something else too (or perhaps saw a glimpse of what TTT's personality will be like) -  that TTT does not like to sit still or cooperate!  He wouldn't easily move into or hold still in the position the doctor needed him to be in so that she could take the measurements and pictures she needed.  At one point the doctor said to me, "Get your rest now because you will be busy with this one!"  We had to stop the scan about two-thirds way through so I could walk around a bit to encourage TTT to move into a different position, which thankfully he did, and then the doctor finished the scan. Below are the latest pictures.  TTT is 17cm long and this is our last scan before TTT is born.  The next picture you see of him will be after birth!

  2. Laura and Mom told me the good news when I got home on Friday. I shared the news with Dziadzi and Phil when I talked with them over the weekend. Jon, in an effort to symbolize our special relationship I suggest we name TTT "Patrick Henry VIII Todd.

  3. I was in the 55% who said it was a boy. I like the name Patrick although not the Henry v111 title - I think his name sake was a tyrant.
