Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas everyone!  Jon and I have had  lovely Christmas at Tethera House with the Todds.  We had a nice lie-in this morning, opened gifts around the "international" Christmas tree, watched Katie & Kieran's wedding DVD, had a Turkey dinner with all the trimmings, then ate both Christmas pudding and chocolate roll for desert (well I had both at least).  We have all just come back from a walk around Bootle and are now settling down to an evening of card games and telly watching.  Bill keeps telling me to "enjoy my last Christmas of calm, next time you're here for Christmas things will be quite different."

I am sure Christmases to come will be quite different, and I'm looking forward to that, but Katie, my seven-month pregnant sister-in-law whom I am pictured with below, has been telling me about all the things I can look forward to in the short-term meantime - heart burn, shortness of breath and over-heating - which I'm not so much looking forward to!

  2. Katie, feel free to use any of my suggestions for baby nameing that Monica doesn't use.
Name for the day: "Nathan Hale Todd".

  3. Ha ha! Thanks Walt! Unfortunately we're having a girl so I'm not sure about Nathan!! I'm trying to not scare Monica too much with tales of the third trimester!
